VR Experience on Midwifery Training - Normal Childbirth Training
Immersive VR is reshaping how midwives build skills, confidence, and clinical readiness. Our midwifery VR demo showcases a foundational simulation of normal childbirth, demonstrating how complex clinical protocols can be translated into simple, intuitive, and high-fidelity learning experiences. The same framework can be expanded to include advanced scenarios such as postpartum hemorrhage, creating a comprehensive learning journey for midwives at different stages of training.
India’s national effort to strengthen the Nurse Practitioners in Midwifery (NPM) cadre under the National Health Mission forms the backdrop for this work. As the country focuses on improving maternal and newborn health outcomes through respectful and evidence-based care, immersive training offers a powerful way to reinforce essential competencies and enhance real-world preparedness.
This demo reflects our capability to design realistic environments, smooth user navigation, and precise interaction logic aligned with clinical practice. It can be adapted to different country contexts and customized for clinical training, academic programs, or advocacy serving as a strong starting point for immersive midwifery learning.
